Re: Poverty spec windows?

Must be a pretty small winder tho. Most of the doorcard space is taken up by the armrest no? When i bought my first 2 ,...

Re: Notchy gear change

Try greasing the shifter itself under the console, and also might be worth changing the bushings on the cable at the gearbox end for the TwosRus ones. Definitely get some MT 90 in the gearbox if you haven't done so already. Done that apart from the oil ,fitted a short shift as well ,that was worse ...

Re: Front Bumper side lights

Mines an import as well, but for the new bumper i bought the clear lenses, i wonder if i got standard import lenses and put them in would it pass. Our test in ireland is different to the UK MOT, but i think they only allow driving lights to be white or yellow. you need these lenses, http://www.ebay...

Re: Front Bumper side lights

Ill have a look at the offset on the pins later today , those bulbs are just white though ? what front lights do you have fitted ,the all orange import ones ? if so it wont matter what bulb you fit, the sidelights will still be orange and a failure another option is to wire in some separate DRLs as ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Seats for Mr2 Mk2

I wouldn't say a nightmare to fit ,just that they wont bolt straight in without buying the expensive runners made by bride or others

if you can get an old set of seats, remove the runners and fit to your new seats ,i recently did it to a set of recaros ,no welding involved ,all bolted together

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Removing bomex skirts

thanks for the reply, i'll have to the fill the holes that the last owner drilled to fit the skirts but other than that I'm happy. thanks :) depending where the fixing holes are ,you could drill them larger ,and fit some bungs that they fit when doing rust treatment ,saves filling and painting http...

Re: Adjustable height/rake steering

As far as i knew only imports had these not the UK cars ? but In theory it should fit , you will need the link that connects to the steering rack as well ,as they come in different sizes ,ive got a tilt and rake column in the garage ,if you want to try it ,if it doesn't fit ill have it back .if it d...

Re: Tyre profile difference ?

I'm planning on putting the rear wheels from my 2000 model onto the front ,and fitting face-lift rears ,this means the front tyre profile will be 55 and the rears 45 , I will finish up with ,fronts 205/55/15 rears 225/45/16, good or bad plan ? shall i just stick with standard face-lift sizes? Reaso...
