JimGTS is the winner. no one managed to reply in time so i made the trip anyway. and it turned out the downpipe was from either a rev1 or 2 anyway and fit perfectly fine. However my mechanic who is a specialist in only mr2s says the rev2 and rev3 downpipe should be interchangeable if anyone else is ...
