Car has indeed scrubbed up ok. Plenty of tidying up to do but nothing a few £'s and a bit of time and effort won't solve.[/url]

Re: Tyres, tyres, tyres

I don't think you can get AD08R's in 225/50R15 unfortunately. Unfortunately, you're correct. I could look at 205/50R15 on the rear and 195/55R15 on the front. AD08R's available in both. Anyone had any long term experience of running 205's on the rear? Car currently has Nexen and Khumo 205's on the ...

Re: Tyres, tyres, tyres

What is the car used for? Problem with the stock sizes is there's no choice now. You've got a couple options at the track day end with the R888R, A048, and V70A, but none of those are suitable for a daily drive / all weather use. Really the only other choice that's available now is the T1R, which i...

Re: Tyres, tyres, tyres

Honestly if money isnt an option, get a set of 16's and either AD08R's or R1R's. Or a set of 17's and any decent premium brand uhp tyre like Goodyear Assymetric 2 or Bridgestone S001s. Perfectly sensible suggestions, but looking to keep this one standard, so any suggestions for the 15's really welc...

Tyres, tyres, tyres

Hi All

I'm like owning to replace the tyres on my recently acquired mk2 Rev3.

It's on the standard 15" alloys so looking at 195's for the front and 225's for the rear. Fortunately, for this area, money isn't necessarily a constraint. Any recommendations really appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

New Owner - Caribbean Blue Mk2 NA T-Bar Rev3

After a relatively short search over the last 3 months or so I've taken the plunge on a 1996 Rev3 Mk2 T-Bar NA car - Caribbean Blue. Bit of an eBay gamble but the car fitted my requirements of low mileage (80k) and with a reasonable, traceable history. £1,300 possibly well spent. I didn't have parti...

Re: Rev5 on autotrader

[quote="aussieGT" What about the black one thats 1000 less and not much more on its clock? Not many pics but worth a look. It's on the "potential's" list but I tend to get put off by lack of photos and description. As you say, may be worth a look. For that price ... yeah defo .....

Re: Rev5 on autotrader

Also in the last photo the revs are sitting pretty high, but the owner could just have their foot on the throttle. Not sure why you'd do that for a photo.. I'm guessing from the temp gauge that the revs are the auto choke doing what an auto choke does. Shame there's no shots of the engine bay, give...

Rev5 on autotrader

Hi all I'm continuing my search for a good low mileage Rev4/5 and I was just wondering if any one knows the car linked below on autotrader? Looks a nice example. Cheers Paul Linkwww.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201603262362148?onesearchad=used&page=1&search-target=usedcars&radius=1...

Re: Rev 5 interior question

Thanks - hadn't seen any others like that so thought they might not be original!

Rev 5 interior question

Hi I've just started to look for a Rev4/5 T-Bar. The car in the linked EBay listing isn't a T-Bar but I'm curious as to wether the interior is original or if it has been retrimmed. Trying to get my head round whether all UK cars were leather or some cloth/half leather. -www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/182040...
