Re: Got my car back!

Rob,

It's a small place over the border in north wales, behind Hawarden airfield. If you want the contact details PM me and I'll pass them on.

Jo,

Not got one of those alarms. I've taken to patroling my back-garden in the middle of the night with a big hefty stick instead  .

Re: Club Mag ?

Personally, I like getting the club mag through the post. OK, it's not the absolute best quality, but all the same I like getting it. I'd rather flick through the mag while watching the telly rather than sitting at my computer sifting through a CD-ROM. http://www.themagicgadget.co.uk/files/images/2p...

Re: Got my car back!

Not at all, the plastic parts and rear window came courtesy of TheDodge (cheers again :thumleft: ) and the guy at the spray shop charged me £400. A bit on the high side, but I've used them before and knew they'd do a decent job.

Got my car back!

Some of you may remember what happened to my car a little while ago. If not here's a pic showing the fire damage after some little vandal had a go at it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v233/DevaMR2/Fire003.jpg Anyway, after help from TheDodge with parts (big, big thank you =D> ) and a trip down t...

Re: MR2 Mk1 Wheels

Re-furb your old ones! After-market alloys are a big [-X for me... Any particular reason? Or is it just a case of being true to the original? Yeah, nothing to do with handling etc etc, just being true to how it left the factory really. I've never been one for modding cars. Each to their own and all...

It's obviously done a great job for you Ian, but I wouldn't recommend it, IMO.

Re: My new MR2! - Update

Yeah, cheers guys. Still gutted but what can you do? Spoke to the police first thing and they were pretty hopeless TBH. At least they gave me a crime number if I want to claim on the insurance. Took it down to our nearest fire station to see what they said as I guessed they'd seen this type of thing...

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!!

Got up this morning, about to go to work when I was faced with this. Still not entirely sure what's happened here, but it seems some b@*tard had a go at setting the rear spoiler on fire... If you're going to set a car on fire, why pick on that bit? I dunno, rambling now. Too gutted to type. Here's t...

Re: The best cheapest Toyota parts supplier?

Do Toyota offer any discount to IMOCers or Mk1 club members etc? I had a bit of a search on the forum but couldn't see anything. I guess if they did, that'd make your service parts a little cheaper.
