Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar

Great to see all the WRONGS now RIGHTED ! Simon's speed is something to behold, and the fact that you now know its all done is a major bonus. Going to underseal mine fully in a spate of hot weather this summer. Mine is mint underneath and want to keep it that way. Nice to have another YVS car on boa...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Anyone using a deep dish steering wheel?

Mine is a Momo MC7728 boss, OMP Corsica 350mm. Specs for both will probably be on their respective websites :thumleft: Exact setup I have, bar mine is a 330mm and Suede with yellow stitching, love it, along with my Corbeau fixed buckets it gives an amazing feel. wouldn't have a flat steering wheel ...

Re: JLW's ( REV 3 GT spec Turbo, smg Tbar ) YVS Performance Built

Tonight I'm going to inflate fronts to 28PSI and rears to 30PSI, take it for a spin on some of the good local roads and see, probably will end up with 29PSI front and 31PSI rear tbh, Im also running 16 clicks rear and 20 clicks front ( from valve fully open ) So I think my hard front end has more to...

Re: JLW's ( REV 3 GT spec Turbo, smg Tbar ) YVS Performance Built

I run ad08r and you want them around 32 hot on track so on the road id run them at 32 as you'll never really give them much on the road compared to track. Great tyres though i was very impressed with them so much so i run them on my mr2 and impreza Hi Pal Do you not run lower PSI on the fronts ? I ...

Re: JLW's ( REV 3 GT spec Turbo, smg Tbar ) YVS Performance Built

Small update over the weekend, Played around with some different tyre pressures as Adrian at Fensport mentioned he felt the slow driving dampening & rebound quite hard, but possibly linked to the AD08R's hard sidewalls. Cant hurt to have a pal around, so tried 27psi front and 29psi rear. At firs...

Re: Toyota Sprint series Dates are out

Adrian mentioned that this would be good for me to give a shot. Would love to, maybe the Cadwell or Snetterton later in the year. Its a version of Time Attack correct ? , is it done from a flying lap or from standstill ? Not quite the same as Time Attack. TA is essentially qualifying, drive around ...

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar

AD08R's are a solid choice, still work in the rain, and can handle some standing water. Best tyre out there this side of the full on just about road legal track tyres IMO. Only downside is the high wear rate so not ideal for daily duties if you do significant mileage. Perfect for fun. Will be getti...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Squeaky / Creaking noise from clutch ... F**king annoying !

Hi Rob Funnily enough mate, yes I did. And it's unfortunately not a cheap fix Along with my recent Forged build Simon at YVS changed my clutch For a Helix stage 2 clutch, and it's fixed the issue. Simon said it's actually the clutch springs, overtime they get rusty and that's What causes the squeaki...
