Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rod end high misalignment spacers
It was just for some drop links. The rod ends are from mcgill motorsport but the quality of them aside that should have no impact on the spacer. Rob, the spacer should slip under the liner with the ball and only make contact at the centre so you get more articulation using a smaller bolt. As expecte...

[Mk2] [Generic] Rod end high misalignment spacers
As per title has anyone ever used these? Just bought some off ebay but it seems the angle on the spacer is incorrect and it actually binds on the rod end reducing misalignment supposed to increasing it as intended.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Do a lot of people fit these to a 2, are they considered necessary? Megan racing do an off the shelf replacement although not stainless.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Carbenfibre Creations
JLW did you order a rear panel? or has anyone else had a carbon rear panel from Carbenfibre before? Mine turned up today while the finish itself is good the fitment seems pretty poor. The top piece only has a very slight curve nowhere near what the oem panel has and trying to line the keyhole up thr...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rear ARB/Sway bar superpro bushes
Yeah don't these bars are stock, both measured with digital vernier and crudely checked with an open ended spanner, 20mm just fits over front (19mm has no chance) and 22mm won't fit over the rear bar. Some googling suggests that the TRD bars were 22.5mm but then there is no aftermarket bushes so wha...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rear ARB/Sway bar superpro bushes
It seems the prothane kits don't have a 20mm front ARB bush available.
Upon double checking my rear ARB is 22.5mm which neither prothane, superpro or powerflex sell bushes for, do people just fit a 22mm regardless then?

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rear ARB/Sway bar superpro bushes
Yeah, its always a PITA searching for bushes when there is so many revisions and different sizes.
I'm either going to get the superpro ones or possibly get some Prothane ones with some other parts from the US.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

[Mk2] [Generic] Rear ARB/Sway bar superpro bushes
Just looking at pricing up superpro bushes for my car but need some clarification on the difference between bushes on a Rev1 vs Rev2+. My rear ARB is 22mm but on the superpro site the only poly bushes they list at 22mm are stated as 89 - 91 with all years beyond that being only going up to 20mm, did...

Re: Parts fiche?
There is the official Toyota software that can be found online but it's a pita to get working and I dont think the new one even includes images anymore. I use these websites for finding parts http://www.japan-parts.eu/toyota/jp/1994/mr2/sw20-acmzz/4_211120_002_/body http://parts.villagetoyota.com/sh...

Re: Does anyone know the car or seller?
A little off topic but what are peoples thoughts on those wide arches? Look awesome, gives the mr2 loads of road presence but may not be the best thing to have if you want to track the car.... Isn't a cheap mod if done properly, ie. not using wheel spacers... Done properly? Wider wheels, different ...

Re: Downpipe options?
The thing with the Berk pipes is they know the flanges are warped and yet do nothing about it, instead they claim that the warp is intentional to improve the tension on the bolts "By allowing the flange to warp in the direction we want to, the seal is tighter as you place more tension on the bo...

Re: Downpipe options?
The quality of the Berk is a bit shoddy to say the least, warped flanges which they claim is intentional..... Some pics here http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=190914&highlight= The prime downpipe looks far better quality than the Berk although its listed for a Gen 4 so probably no goo...

Re: Raising the car to get over some larger speed bumps
As above something must be wrong with your standard suspension if you struggle with speed bumps
(perhaps it is already lowered?), raising a stock MR2 a few inches would make the thing a moon buggy.![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)

Re: Anyone using quick release steering wheel boss?
I would of thought the adjustable column can be retrofitted and was something I was going to swap out of my 'spare parts' mr2 just so I have that functionality but it's not something i've looked into as of yet. With regards to steering wheel boss I have NRQ quick release with the short boss and it's...
