Re: Camskill droplinks - any good?

I went for a full set of Febi Bilstein PROKIT's all around. Cost me about £80. Can't knock the quality of German parts for the most.

I'll never understand the need to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a service item. Genuine drop links are in no way superior to warrant the price.

Re: Question for the V6 boys

What sort of costs are involved for a 2GR-FE swap? I'm also presuming it will be a lot heavier on fuel as well.

Re: Snapped bolt in distributor housing.

In truth I was going to have a pop at doing it that way before heading off to the wanted section. Luckily there is enough sticking out to have try. It will need a bit of heat to move it reckon. I know heating aluminium can be a bit iffy but I've had success once before on a head with similar circums...

Snapped bolt in distributor housing.

Just got around to changing my cap today only to find that one of the bolts was snapped in the housing so it's basically been hanging on with one bolt which is far from ideal. Probably explains why it's never been changed before. Now there is some of the bolt sticking out still so there's something ...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] rev 3 spoiler removal and water protection

So the two main gaskets are the same on both models then.

Which of those part numbers are for the base mounting point on the boot lid?

Blast from the past and saves making a new thread.

Peter, are those part numbers for the rev 5 spoiler only? Looking for the one's for a rev 3 spoiler.
