If you're after na power a v6 is definitely worth a look, they're completely different to the 3sge

Re: 4age to 4agze conversion
I've mounted my battery in the frunk of my car, I think I've gone a similar route to woodsport and mounted it on the passenger side and run the cable under the carpet along the sill and there's a few holes in the bodywork from the factory that can be made use of. I'll upload a pic of mine later

Re: Can you start classing a 1990 Mr2 as a classic?
I was always under the impression that 25 years was seen as a classic car. Although I'm not sure if that was just how the DVLA classed it as you never had to pay road tax on a car over 25 years old as was seen as a classic. So theoretically yours may have already made it :thumleft: Nope, DVLA chang...

Re: Selling up and Clearing Out! Lots of goodies!!
Problem with posting them is they're virtually irreplaceable! I would be willing to wrap them as best I can but I wouldn't like to take responsibility for damage! Would you not fancy a little road trip? Lol Do you have a courier in mind? I totally get what you mean. But that's some serious mileage ...

Re: What alloys people using?
The work wheels are: 7j x 16 et20 front 8j x 16 et30 rear The fitment is quite flush and could really do with getting the arches rolled as they scrub the lip of the arches over bumpy roads Thanks for that. One last question, where did you buy them from? And yeah, I prefer the look of the three spok...

I haven't really paid too much attention to the miles I've done in my mk1 but I don't think it was much more than 2k miles

I've had my mk1 v6 for about a year and half and I'm pretty sure I've dropped about £10k into her and she's nowhere near where I want it. Yet

If it sells around the current price it doesn't look too bad photos aren't showing much but it doesn't look in bad nick. I wonder how much work would be involved in a rhd swap

I personally wouldn't bother if you've got doubts about it. A grand for a na mk2 with questionable history dosent seem like a great bargain worth traveling the country for, if it was nearby it's always worth a look. But I wouldn't want to be spending money on train fares to come home empty handed

Re: How bad is rust?
Another option if you have somewhere to work on the car is; Buy a used MIG and an angle grinder and cutting discs. Practice on some scrap metal for a while and watch YouTube to learn to weld. Then patch or properly repair yourself with a big bag of self satisfaction. I did my driver's side includin...
