Re: Poss daft ABS sensor question but......
Ooops!
Thats a mk3 one hey? how embarrasing.
Wonder if they do mk2 ones I better go and have a look.
They look kinda sorta the same, would it be worth a try if there isn't a mk2 generic and similarly priced alternative?

Re: My project G-Limited MR2 MK2 Rev2 import on youtube
I know i almost always forget to do it, but if your a bit more organised than me.
Give any bolts/nuts etc a good soaking a good few days before your going to tackle a job, also and i know it sounds mad but try tightening a nut/bolt a fraction before trying to loosen off.
Keep at it.

You know the t'other one at the front, is it just stick on?

Re: Poss daft ABS sensor question but......
Are you sure we should or would be talking in terms of resistance and not impedance with regards to the cable and the function in forms in this particular application? The proof of the pudding surely is that kev has done this and it works. Well its good enough an argument for me, Im not trying to co...

Re: Poss daft ABS sensor question but......
TBH I was considering what 2mad has done, I was in my garage eyeing up a nice reel of cable and toying with that very idea. I'll soon know if the solder link has worked later if I get the chance. Ill jack back end of the car up again and run it in 1st gear off the floor, should get a feedback voltag...

Re: Poss daft ABS sensor question but......
Hmmm, Stranger and stranger. So i have replaced one rear abs sensor with one from a hub that i eventually managed to wrestle out intact and working, so I managed to loose one of my abs errors. I was left with a single error code error 34. Did some more investigation today and found breaks in the wir...

Re: Poss daft ABS sensor question but......
From a bit of experimenting yesterday, as mentioned its def the NSR sensor, No oscilloscope but managed to do a few test using multi meter on mV and also checking resistance. I jacked back of the car up and ran it in gear to test what I was getting in mV one side seemed to keep rising weirdly past 2...

Preston/lancaster group and a meet up one sat/sunday
Is there already an existing regional group for Preston/Bpool/lancaster area? If not is there any peeps in the area that would like to get one going? Be good to have a meet up somewhat like the preston supercar meet that happens every month. Also on MGrover.org we used to have a regional map from go...
