Re: Installing coilovers, do I need to remove the brakes?
I'm not at a level where I'm comfortable to bleed them myself yet. A friend of mine has a 500+ hp self build Subaru and used to work for pro drive so I normally get him to lend a hand I've postponed the fitting for now as my tools are in my dads car.

Installing coilovers, do I need to remove the brakes?
Hey guys, been looking at the guide for fitting coilovers (I have the BC BR's) and in the guide they remove the caliper / split the line.
Do I have to do this? I have braided hoses to go on but I'd rather leave that (and bleeding) to a proffesional as I don't want to have air trapped.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] The speedhut look for a fraction of the cost
As they were cheap enough I bought 8 of them (came to less than £5) just in case I had any dead ones, currently got some in my sidelights and now I've been looking at replacing all exterior (bar the heads/fogs) with LEDs. Found some nice 10w BA15S Cree LEDs I could use in the reversing lights as min...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] The speedhut look for a fraction of the cost
Did this tonight and very pleased! I used self adhesive red which was a major PITA, trying to slide it into position without it sticking was a nightmare so I gave up trying to do the kph bit in the middle. Will try again with some non adhesive (Also going to make the text a nice light blue I think)....

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Your opinion on new wheels
I've got the rota slipstreams (I think at least, mine seem to have more dish on the rears) and think they look great. 17x7.5 and 17x8 I believe. They came on the car and the only thing I'd swap them out for is the Advan SA3R's

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] The speedhut look for a fraction of the cost
I had already ordered myself some red self adhesive :) any way at getting to the back of the dial without taking the needles off? I'll probably order some non-adhesive stuff for the easiest parts and use the self adhesive on the little red ticks as the full blown everything red look seems a bit too ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] The speedhut look for a fraction of the cost
Sorry for the bump but I'm a little skeptical about getting the cutout on the Gel 100% and I'm worried about having the needle ping off (Was even considering using a wood clamp of sorts). Would a sharpie (Or something much, much better than a sharpie) work if I was to carefully colour my clocks in? ...

Re: Blitz NUR R Exhaust with Extra Silencer
I think the only way this could work for my NA would be replacing the 2.25>3" decat with one of these welded in its place.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Nurspec r on an NA, how to quieten down?
It's such a beautiful noise! But yeah, after 20minutes it's a bit much, sounds raspy and ricer ish but I'm guessing that's the lack of gasket between decat and nurspec. I'm thinking butterfly valve will do the job so that'll be ordered next month, for now though what can I wrap the bung in? It makes...

[Mk2] [NA] Nurspec r on an NA, how to quieten down?
Hey guys, installed a blitz Nurspec R on my NA rev5 and the noise is beyond rediculous, the bung doesn't seem to do a thing! I was thinking either an active bung or a butterfly valve so I have a few questions. Which would you use? (from experiance) Anyone know the specs on the Nurspec without me hav...
