Re: Very excited
Well that saves all that worry I have decided to trailer the car home. Basically I will be saving a fair bit of money and then I can get used to the car without being on the M25 =)

Re: Very excited
Yeah on the tyre front I have always used t1r on the bmw so will be looking for something similar. In my opinion cheap rubber is false economy especially if you end up in a ditch. On the classic policy they wanted limited mileage and I forgot to mention the 2 will be my only car on the road as the b...

Re: Very excited
as above, take it easy, they can let go in the blink of an eye, also £1000 for insurance is ridiculous!!! when i was 24 i was only around the 5-600 mark for fully comp. also, next year, you can get it on classic policy (as you'll be 25) i'm 30 with 4 years NCB and am under £200. in fact, my first c...

Re: Very excited
To be honest I haven't looked on the type my intention was to change the wheels sharpish for some good rubber and not so chav alloys (standard wanted). I have had 5 years experience of rwd in the form of my 328 however I know it's a whole different ball game with a 2 but I think it may help. Should ...

Very excited
So I am collecting my new car on saturday and I really can't wait!! I would also like to say a BIG thank you to Sam over at Sky insurance for sorting my policy out. So for a 24 year old it's cost a little over £1000 for me to insure a gt turbo with mods. The only thing that I am nervous about is the...

Re: mr2 buying advise
Hi there,
I am very excited. I have been in my brothers mr2 a lot and love it. I know mine won't be as quick but as a starting point it will be perfect. Just hope I don't get behind the wheel for the first time and hate it although I'm sure I won't.

Re: mr2 buying advise
Thank you for the help. I have had a read through and now decided I would like a rev3. Real shame the yellow one that was advertised is no longer for sale! I'm sure a nice one will come along though. Thanks again.

Re: Forging
Hi I remembered reading a bit about it a long time ago but could only find these links to it now Hope that helps lol :thumleft: Just out of interest have you heard of Rogue doing more than one of these builds? I only ask as the first set of pictures are of my brothers car and the second link isn't ...

I am basically posting for a little advise and if anyone knows of things to look out for or even point me towards a car. So far I have decided it has to be a turbo not too sure on rev 1...
