Re: Rusty inner wheel arch

Hi guys thanks for you helpful replies. As the weather was nice I decided to have a go and make up a repair patch. With a bit of guidance from my dad with the welding I think it went okay, definitely an improvement anyway! I'll try and upload some photos soon. And you're both right, practice is key!...

Rusty inner wheel arch

Hi guys. I've recently acquired a second Caribbean blue rev3, originally to use it to 'renovate' my first rev3, which is in parts waiting for me to get round to sill repairs... Suspension and brakes have all been overhauled but a few bits left to get on with... Anyway, when I first got it, the exter...

Stall on cold idle? Throttle body?

Hi guys, Just got a rev 3 n/a. Alls well apart from everytime it's started, it seems to rev up to high idle fine, and then the revs just plummet, don't stabilise, and it tries to hold on but then stalls. If its revved until semi warm it runs fine? I've taken the throttle body off and cleaned that as...

Re: alternator tensioner

Bit of an update, I've had a look today and I'm missing the bottom pivot bolt and the adjusting lock bolt! Worrying that the bottom pivot bolt hasn't been fitted?!
Just wandering if anyone has either of these and how much they'd want for them?
Thanks for the help

Re: Rusty arch and sill advice needed!

Thanks for your quick response! Sorry about the late reply, have been busy at work. Some very useful information thank you. I'll have a look at getting some quotes for the sills, as there is a 5p sized hole and I imagine this needs to be looked at quite soon! It was bodge repaired by the previous ow...
