Re: REV 1 GT - @ Back Home
Hi All, That's the short block all completed and sealed up - Next week the head will be checked over and fitted. Once in the bay the oil filter will be relocated to the bulk head to reduce heat from the down pipe & screamer pipe. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b230/gttpunto/IMG_2218_zps871906...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] fuel pressure drop at high boost and rpm
The stock j-spec Supra fuel pumps are usually replaced when upping the power to 400hp and above on a Supra. A Walbro 255 of Bosch 044 pump would be better for the power you are running. What Nic said!.... Supra pumps will be changed out a 400hp and above - I would go down the 255 Walbro route. Also...

Re: REV 1 GT - @ Back Home
Hi All, Well I decided that having 2 two seater cars wasn't really practical so the MX5 was sold on Saturday morning to make way for another Toyota to the collection. I wanted something with 4 seats and a boot but not to expensive to run, Fast but nothing to kinky. Not the prettiest car in the world...

Re: New MR2 Owner
Lightley, I don't know the car personally just seen it for sale - Not many Rev 1's in the area you see. I think a Lad called Tom had it from Newbiggin. Your MR2 has an Autopista rear spoiler - If its genuine they are fairly rare. If you need any help with anything I work in Cramlington. Cheers Craig

Hi Lightley,
Welcome aboard - As Peter says once you have 15 posts you can upload pictures.
Out of curiosity Your MR2 wouldn't be a Red "H" Reg with Black Wheels?.
Cheers Craig

Re: REV 1 GT - @ Back Home
Hi All, So no updates for a fair while - We were delayed on some parts for over 6 weeks - But starting to move now and hoping to get back on the road in October. A few extras that we decided to add - Full Syvecs ECU system which I had been toying with for the past few months but the cost was an issu...

Re: REV 1 GT - @ Back Home
So a wee update on the deuce, Still unsure to why I had such a high boost spike (1.97 Bar) this caused DET and blew the ceramic off the end of one of the spark plugs landing in the cylinder and mashed on the pistons... :( But on a positive side no damage to the walls of the block and you can even st...

Thanks Ashley,
I suppose while it is all in bits it will better to get it fitted now rather than down the line.
Umm I will have Peter double check and advise..... Then start looking

[Mk2] [Turbo] LSD or No LSD That is the question
Hi All, As some of you may be aware my car is at Sbits with Peter getting a full rebuild and upgraded to a GT3582R setup. As the gearbox stands at the moment to my knowledge it has no LSD. Now the car will be running 500hp give or take. Should I run an LSD or not? Car will only be used as a weekend ...
