Re: Loose Outside Door Handle
Door card off, plastic carefully off at the top. Then there's one nut towards the front of the car, that you'll need to get a 10mm spanner on, it's behind the window mechanism but not too hard to get at. The other one is behind the little rubber bung at the back of the door. That one you need a fair...

[Mk2] [Generic] UK Rev4 Central locking problem
Evening all. Been having a problem with the locking on my car recently. It's the standard fob. The car unlocks fine, but when I lock it just the alarm activates, the doors don't lock. So I'm currently having to press the lock button inside to lock the passenger door, then get out lock the drivers do...

Re: Possible to wind odometer back
The reason the JDM ones only go upto 112mph is all cars in Japan are limited to 112mph/180kmh by law.

The 110mph version is just a sticker over 180km/h clocks.

Possibly interested.
What size tyres were you running, so I can price up replacements.
Are the front tyres terminal too?

I'll take it if it will work with non genuine mats.
I'm happy to poke a hole through it if necessary.

Re: dandism mat clip
Do these work with any mats or just the Toyota ones?
Mine are currently duct taped down Doesn't stop them moving though.
The clips that came with my mats were too long and stuck up.

Sounds likely, they'll have seen their fair share of use in 17 years and 132000 miles!
I'll have a look when I get a chance, and if I find any play I'll take you up on your offer. Thanks

[Mk2] [NA] Door dropped lower than it should be?
I've noticed some wind noise coming from the drivers door, which I've had before, but fixed by adjusting the window. I've had a look and this time it seems to be due to the door not closing properly! Looks like it may have dropped down slightly, so it's not closing flush. It's not leaking water, but...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] SW20 Reverse Camera.
I can park between cars no problem. But I can't see the white lines without lowering one of the side mirrors which is painfully slow! Front and back are no problem thanks to the spoiler and headlights, but it always seems to be wonky in the space if there isn't a car in an adjacent space to judge it...

[Mk2] [Generic] SW20 Reverse Camera.
Has anyone installed a reverse camera in their mk2? I'm thinking of doing it and would like to see where you've put them. I was thinking of removing the boot lock barrel and putting it there if possible and it will work being off centre. As I'm sure you're aware, the visibility while trying to rever...

Thanks for that, I'll bare it in mine next time I break one!
The new one I have isn't as tall as the last one though, so shouldn't be a problem

Re: Stopping aerial from coming all way up?
I modified my Ariel to lift about 1/3 of the way up, removed now and smoothed over so sat in the garage if you want it? I've already bought a new one now, thanks for the offer though. How did you modify it? Any more info on fitting an S2000 one? It's not that low, I can get an astra van with extens...
