I m had a rev 3 engine fully forge with ct20 turbo I brought it like that and then took that out and sold it and put in a rev 4 complete engine and went mental on it. Stock internals have chicken leg rods but the block is the strongest out of all the 3sgte and you will get the most bhp out of it compare to all the old revisions. I'm running 1.39 bars and I'm getting 445.3bhp with a gt3037 same turbo as a gt3076. But ideal engine would be a L7 from a corvette lol ...

My mr2 has magic hks forged unicorns, a hks gt3037 snail and a whole load of other stuff done.

But really these engines blocks are solid...

Thanks guys for the info... so 30-40 degrees is normal temps for air temps... usually mine is around that on hot days but that day I think I realised I didn't switch the cc fan on that opens up the 2nd water pump aswell on the cc and that's why temps were going sky high... Disc rotor size is 330x32 on bells

The pads are quite harsh but work really well.... so need decent disc or they won't last long.

surprisingly my mr2 survived the very very hot track day at brands hatch... but it was soo much fun just learning cambered corners that most tracks dont have and new driving techniques. if i got time i will post some vids and a pics.

I got D2 8pot big brake kit at the front just wonder what disc to replace them with I got xp8 pads at the front... any info would be much appreciated
