Not really or not atall?
I'm just wandering that even though they may not improve power output they may improve power delivery i.e torque curve etc.....??
Or do they just make a nice noise and fook all else ?
can someone please tell me the differences between rev2 and rev 3 n/a's?
ami right in thinking that rev 2's are 158bhp and rev 3's are 173bhp in standard form?
what actually gives this difference in power?
The driver has a lot more to do with these little GP's than people think. You only need to look at a days worth of 1/4 miles times to see how much it can vary. You never really know what your gonna get with an Evo as they start at about 260bhp and go right up to 400bhp in standard trim levels. Then...
Cheers guys, starting to get somewhere now :thumleft: SO...... New question..... Which type of diff will lock up the quickest and most often, where do i get one from and how much will it cost? If you want a tight diff a plate type is the best option. Rev1's had plate type diffs as did MK1 SC's. Am ...

The search function is your friend :thumleft: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=99513 They were optional from revision 4, and IIRC the EPC lists them as standard equipment for about the last six months of production. A lot of people with revision 5 S54 gearboxes are unaware that they hav...
Just a quick question, i'm trying to decide what car to base next years Nurburgring thrasher on and was wandering, were any of the Mk2 n/a's fitted with LSD from factory or would i have to fit aftermarket diff or get hold of a tubby gearbox or whats the easiest way around it?
Cheers
oh yeah i forgot nothing can keep with an evo... ffs they're 276bhp and AWD so they've got loads of powertrain loss, so most things about 260bhp and two wheel drive should keep with a stock one from a roll. It's not allways just about power though is it? it's about how the engine delivers it, torqu...

Jeez. no need to get so uptight grandad. You know, an Imoc fairy once told me that if you have to resort to name calling then you've lost your argument :cyclops: And isn't it about time you stumped up the fiver and contributed to the forum old tight fist? :oldtongue:  this isn't an argument it'...
Yes, I'm helping the people trying to read it, it's not a difficult request is it? I've just re-read it all and it's actually very easy, if you have trouble with your english http://catalogue.learndirect.co.uk/browse/sfl/English_Courses/ :thumleft: Don't feel isolated, there are others with reading...
Gear ratio's in the RS were for 60 > acceleration and i'm pretty sure it wasn't optional. My car topped out at 136mph redlining. *YAWN* as quoted in post 16 on this thread by moi, '1st and 2nd gear ratios are the same i.e 0-60 on the V and V RS 3rd 4th and i think 5th were shorter and car tops out ...
Poncy- meaning-posh. I take that as compliment my working class friend thankyou :thumleft: Your brand of wit would go down well on the EVO magazine forum :thumleft: You're still a stat loving, Evo geek, though. Go back to the Lancer register and leave us chavvy boys alone =; lmao!! And I thought it...
Oh Jees! We have another Aidy ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) On IMOC tubbys rule, OK. These are the best cars on the road - end of =;  Ha ha fair play, this is your part of the world (wide web) afterall  Personally prefer the MK1's but i have seen the tubbys go and been out in one, they do per...
