Some good suggestions coming up here. Does that Natty's Blue stuff have a tint or is it just the name?
I've heard tinted waxes are just a gimmick and give no real difference over regular stuff.

Signature quote?
Is that pure carnauba stuff or synthetic? The pure stuff is a b1tch to get off isn't it?

Re: Meguires Vs Autoglym
I may just do that. But with the price of Megs stuff I think I'll finish off the NXT first!
Any chance of some pics of your half and half?

Re: Meguires Vs Autoglym
I just started a thread on detailing too. Must be the weather :) http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1503251#1503251 I'm a big fan of the Meguires stuff. Ultimate Compound followed up with NXT wax has always worked for me in the past but I think I need a proper single action polisher to get...

I've heard of that. Didn't realise it was a regular thing though.

Just coincidence then. I thought I was going to be forever segregated to the back of the bus as the light blue minority!
It does make for good pictures though. Something for future meets maybe? You're not alone in your OCD Martin!

Is there a reason why we seem to have been colour coordinated in the convoy?
Is this a meet thing I'm not familiar with or just a huge coincidence?

MR_TOAD_INSTALLER
A big thumbs up for MR_TOAD_INSTALLER aka Ian of www.mobilecaralarms.com Everyone loves a story so... I came home from work last night to a note that Northern Gas would be digging up the drive and that my car should be moved by 8am this morning if I needed it today. So off I go and park around the c...

Good times. Great to meet you all and thanks again for the bulb Roger (I'm rubbish with names so if it's not Roger then I apologise!)
Had the camera with me but didn't get anything good really.
Here's a short clip of the arrival for what it's worth!

I'm not a fan of any body modifications really but those side skirts great.
It's a bit too yellow and importy (insurance) for me but I would agree around the 2.5k mark to the right buyer.

According to my grease monkey I've (apparently) got one on the way. I think it must be coming the long way around from Japan though!

I guess mine must be plugged then. At least I hope it is, I've done over 1000 miles without it!

Re: [Mk2] [NA] I am a dipstick
The whole tube is missing.
Is the concern about leaks? I haven't really looked to see if the hole has been plugged or not.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] I am a dipstick
Why not? Is it that something may have dropped into the sump?
My car didn't have a dipstick tube in it when I bought it and have been driving around fine for 2 months now. (I've got one on the way though obviously)

But... but.. they're so pretty
Maybe I'll just go OEM and spend the change on petrol. I don't need any extra performance anyway.

I'll be putting some sexy Black Diamond ones on mine soon. Just a shame the contact area doesn't stay black.
I haven't used them before but they have pretty good reviews around the net and don't cost the world!
