Re: [Mk2] [NA] Headgasket has gone and I have limited funds so DIY! Help needed
Had all signs of HG failure as there was overheating, replaced thermostat, filler pressure cap, checked rad, fans all working and test instantly turned the fluid green so conclusively a HG problem. I dropped a 3SGE engine out recently in a car i broke for spares so have knowledge on how to do this (...

[Mk2] [NA] Headgasket has gone and I have limited funds so DIY! Help needed
So 21st Birthday arrives and TRAX this Sunday my Head gasket goes! ](*,) Not going to rush the repair and was thinking of dropping in a 3SGTE but despite for lust for a turbo I think that because the engines been so reliable i'd give replacing the gasket a go myself (it's a 1995 REV3 3SGE by the way...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] mr2 rev 3 n/a engine miss/rattle
Have you undone anything or removed/ replaced anything in the engine bay recently? Also check your plugs, wouldn't hurt even if it's a long shot. My car was misfiring in cylinder 3 all of a sudden, checked it, has small amount of water in the grommet (was a rainy night!), cleaned it and the misfirin...

Re: TRAX 2013
On September 8th at around 6am, me and a fair few other people will be meeting at the ESSO Garage in Dartford on the big roundabout near the harvester. If anyone else would like to join our convoy down to TRAX just lemme know and i'll look out for you. I'll be in my Blue REV 3 MR2 with a few Hondas :)

Re: Left rear calliper sticking
Hi mate, I had a rear caliper seize on me 2 weeks ago.
I was in a similar situation and for
£50-£60, it was far easier to just get a new caliper.
if money isn't a massive issue its an easy solution

[Mk2] [Generic] DROP LINK COILOVER size help
I have HSD coilovers and have lowered the rear of the car using the front drop links... However i need longer drop links on the front to lower it as the rear is noticeably higher than the front. Apart from adjustable drop links which i'm trying to avoid (because of the problems I have heard) is ther...

[Mk2] [NA] HSD COILOVERS fitted, Front springs jumping every turn of the wheel???
Hi, installed HSD coil-overs a few weeks back and have noticed the car makes an awful "tong, katong" sound when the car turns (excuse the sound attempt). Also seen that the springs jump back down when turning. Need some advice as everyone I've asked have been stumped and want the car to be...

Re: HSD Coilovers not fitting?
Hey buddy, must be in the same boat! i bought my HSD coilovers a few days ago and just fitted the last one but didn't get round to finishing it off as it got dark! Fitment in both the rear brackets is very tight, we spent over 2 hours trying to wriggle and get the fitment to work. In the end we got ...

[Mk2] [NA] HSD coilovers and drop link problems!
Hi guys, first post :D I have a 1995 mk2 mr2 and me and a friend have nearly finished installing HSD coilovers. We need to get new drop links but we've found that the original rear drop links are too short and wont allow the ride height to be very low. Does anyone know if you can use the front drop ...
