Ditching HT leads and dizzy for COP always a good idea?
I'm in two minds about doing this, I've been told that 1zz/2zz conversion will give me a bigger spark and more power. My goal is just over 400bhp fly. However i see George's MR2 is still running OEM and is at 700+ and other big power 2s. I guess I'm looking for the pros and cons, help me out :D I've...

Think you've just answered your question partly. Supply and demand.

Titan race and Racer X exhaust manifold. Anyone with experience with them?
I'm running a GTX gen 2 3076 at the moment with an adapter. During mapping it was said the turbo was very efficient and the 90° bend is a bottleneck. I'm considering either one of these manifolds as a replacement in the future. Anyone running either one? My main reason for staying OEM was because of...

Re: Car won't start with standard ecu
I would put the standard injectors back in. The ECU you sourced, is it from a Rev 3 I'm only sure they out of the 3-5 JDM or UK did not have an immobiliser. First rule in tuning, be patience and work methodically As far as I know the injectors are stock. Yes the ecu I picked up was from someone bre...

 I'm a proud (deliberate) N54 owner with the 6 speed 8) true, the dragstrip is POINTLESS. But boy do they shift Jim - most kits will say do not use more than a 50/50 mix - my AEM one does anyway and i think coolingmist etc is too. Will all help though! Well done Andrew for getting the manual, ...

Re: Rev4 Turbo *mini photoshoot*
I've got a 335i which is mapped to 383hp, and a friend has the new 335d X drive. It has launch control, weighs 2 tonnes but hits 0-60 in what, 4.7 seconds? Both cars way outperform many tuned cars and cost nothing in comparison. The new universal 8 speed boxes are just incredible too. I know all ab...

Re: Rev4 Turbo *mini photoshoot*
Very gracious of you what you wrote to the 335D owner but we all know it ain't true  he has a chance.. Ha(!) That win was more delicious to me as it was a win for petrol heads. Diesels (never stop banging on about the 335d on PH) and most importantly DCT and autos should be banned from drag str...

Unless one is part synthetic and the other is synthetic, i don't see why you're changing you're oil brand
The 5w means in fact it would be more effective in colder weather than 10w. Once at optimum engine temp they are doing the same thing.
