Out of curiousity, why did you fit a plastic insert and not just tap the knob? Good job though :) Because I hadn`t got the right size tap in the garage and my only internal threading tool was too big to go inside the hole. Made myself a new gear knob this afternoon . 34mm titanium anodized blue . Just got to print a gear shift pattern out and stick a glass dome on the top to finish it off :) Made a plastic insert to go inside so it screws on like a normal knob.
