Re: Home made gear knob

Out of curiousity, why did you fit a plastic insert and not just tap the knob? So I bodged it with a 1/2mm smaller hole and let the stick thread cut its ow...

Home made gear knob

Made myself a new gear knob this afternoon . 34mm titanium anodized blue . Just got to print a gear shift pattern out and stick a glass dome on the top to finish it off :) Made a plastic insert to go inside so it screws on like a normal knob. Think it came out pretty good :) http://i150.photobucket....

Re: Number of rev5s tubbys in the UK?

Fair enough :D Known dodgy seller,(and banned from IMOC) - he has previously tried to sell a Rev 1 and claimed it was a REV 5, amongst other things. Also, Bradford. Dodgy bu88er. Didn`t notice it was in Bradford . went there once to look at some cars and there was better stuff in the scrap yard . M...

Re: Got my MR2

Got the car back from the garage last night . Full service , cam belt water pump etc . Garage man also gave it a good once over for any possible problems and apart from one of the tyres being fitted the wrong way round (directional) which he sorted he gave it a glowing bill of health :) Alarm man is...

Re: Got my MR2

Im defiantly going to phone round a few more. The comparison site is in the lead at the moment over the specialist by just over £200 . Hopefully get it down to sub £500 :) The thing is though, the price comparison site is probably wrong and will offer a substandard level of cover. Just gone with Gr...
