Oh maan, the guy has taken it off eBay :( Ah well, guess the dream will have to wait again  How hard are imported N/A cars to come by? They aren't hard. Lots of people imported the N/A due to it being in a better climate and less rust. I think the key is patience Ah good good. I am starting t...

Re: Complete noob, potential first MR2. Advice please!
I don't really go much on service history as I've seen so much faked and still need doing if you get one with it. Rust is the key -I think the mechanics are generally sound enough, get one with no rust is the challenge -and all the electrics should work of course. Yea I was hoping a decent import w...

That looks nicer. He's taken a little more time to do a write up which makes me think he's taken a little more care of the car. I dont really like to judge a car till i've seen it in the flesh though. I'd say go and look at both of them see what you think. I don't really like bidding for a car on E...

I'm about to do my waterpump / cambelt its not as hard if you take your time. It should be good if changed that recently. (although personally i'd rather change it again myself simply because then i'm 100% sure it is done especially if you don't have any proof it was done when he says it was) Yeah ...

Awesome good good. I would do cambelt waterpump. The engine is non interference yes. Be warned a cambelt / waterpump change is a BIG job. Due to the location and access issues. It can be done and there is a article in the knowledge base IF you want to do it yourself of course. I would recommend get...

Looks ok. I'd 100% give it a good look over and take someone with you. The guy could have written a little more about it. I would consider having around £500 extra available for a full service and anything else that might break. Yea thanks, I am taking my dad who has been trading cars since I could...

Hi welcome Milage isn't really normally a oncern. check the sills give them a tap see if it sounds at all dead and not metally if you see what I mean. I guess we are talking about an N/A? Complete noob, potential first MR2. Advice please!
Hi guys, regular forum lurker here. I have been after a REV 5 MR2 for over a year, but my budget is a little bit limiting (I am a poor apprentice). However, I finally have about 1100 saved and I figured winter was the best time to buy as the market is a bit dead. Anyway, I came across a car that has...
