[Mk2] [Turbo] Can these pipes be blocked off & where does this one go
Im currently fitting another rev2 engine with rev3 wiring. Hence a couple of the pipes I cant remember where they go as the engine has been out for a while  I know this pipe use to feed into the rubber S bend (yellow tape over the end) joining the turbo, because its in a kitcar, I dont need to ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Better air intake temp sensor and positioning. Results page 6.
Jim,
the linked one has 3 wires. I presume you just connect two of them? Considering switching to this sensor as I'm just about to install the Rev2 forged block with Rev 3 sensors / loom etc...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] rev2 - rev3 repin and sensor questions
I think this has answered my question....I need to follow the wiring back from the ECU plug and see what has been done and where the plug is. Ill do a resistance check to find the relevant plug to that those pins
Still after repinning advice though

Question 1 Manifold Air Temp sensor - where the 5th injector was on a rev2, I cant find a connector for it on the engine loom, does the Rev3 ECU require this to be connected? If so do I just change the connector on what is effectivel...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Clips & Bolts sizes used on the 3s-GTE engine
Maybe not quite what you wanted to hear but useless? Just means your going to have to do the work yourself instead of relying on others. I meant the book not your reply. But I'm afraid it is useless id have to buy every bolt listed, as what is on the engine isnt known and then have loads of wasted ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Clips & Bolts sizes used on the 3s-GTE engine
I'm going to be refreshing my engine. I don't suppose there is some list of the spring band clip sizes used on the car and the bolts the car uses on the engine.
Save me going out there and playing the guessing game as god knows where my verniers are!

Which is a huge amount of work and having to use 3 donor cars to make one seems a lot of hassle. This Tho this does tick a few boxes Seen they have ...

Re: Kitcar Project - MR2 the Donor
I've got a 3rd dashboard iteration in now that I've built and flocked.
I also decided to give it its first good machine polish, I've only been using it 2 and a half years so a little overdue lol but came up well

It weights just over a ton. But it could easily have a fair amount of weight stripped out of it as I added a lot of sound deadening and creature comforts like a heavy air on unit which I haven't even bother plumbing in
