Mine did have purple tint didn't like it removed it and replaced bulbs and was a lot lot brighter. However either where the tint was purple seemed to have stained the templates as now rather than white colour is white with a hint of purple, it's either that or that's how the standard clocks react wi...

Removing exhaust coke from bodywork

Any one got any tips on removing exhaust coke from body work and what to use? This happened over about 2 weeks now can't seem to remove it (not trying very hard though) Also once removed is covering the spot with some clear plastic sheeting a good idea, to make the job easier in future? Blimey, I saw this topic title and thought it was mine! About 3 or 4 years ago I was in a GB for some of these. And I had the exact same problem. After much discussion with Driftworks (who the GB was organised through) they eventually got some new, amended brackets for me. Took months to get resolv...

This is the 3rd time it's happened to a member on this forum But others have fitted the HSD monos fine I don't know what the constant in the situation is Either some of the coilovers are bad Or like driftworks have said maybe there is something slightly different on rev1s for whatever reason causing...

Fitted mine today much better, ended up i had to split the clocks to remove loads of purple tint, your guide were perfect and came in very handy, thanks :thumleft:
