So another 2 years on and she is going strong. Passed this morning with only a couple advisories on front tyres and front spring corrosion. Good excuse to get new suspension, although I was looking at doing a complete upgrade sometime this year anyway.

All sorted, and didn't need to buy anything. Re-greased the connection that MartG suggested to check and made sure it was moving freely. As above looking for a garage to change the clutch on my MK1 near Milton Keynes, that isn't going to charge me astronomical prices. Failing that i will try and do it myself....Its just having the time to do it, and having the car off the road in the mean time.

Good to know that when i have the money i can get one, look forward to seeing the sunroof model version. I have a T-bar brace on my sunroof model, however i rarely take off the sunroof, so a non issue really. Would be good to have matching braces though. Keep up the good work.
