Re: availbilty of `16" tyres

I'll have a set of barely used (less than 100miles) Toyo R1-R on some staggered 16" SA3R for sale very soon. I'll have to reup my premium on IMOC. I'm just waiting for my other wheels to come out of storage next week so I've something to sit the car on. Nice price for you, Brian. Front 205/45 o...

[Mk2] [Turbo] [Rev 3] Mystery Disappearance: TPS Loom Plug

Some months ago I swapped the fuel rail on my MR2 and evidently didn't plug the TPS back in once I'd replaced the throttle body. Now I can't find it anywhere. Does that part of the loom just disappear if you don't plug it in? Is it wedged under the fuel rail somewhere now? Was it cold and windy and ...

Could someone in the Illuminati please confirm whether or not this is J. Fields please (if that's possible): forums/viewtopic.php?t=194515

My apologies to James2593 if that is not the case.

Re: Rev 1/2 C One Spoiler

I'm not sure how to quickly share pictures from my phone but I took a couple lf snaps from the C-One full page ad in Hyper Rev showing the spoiler and Inthink you're right. I'm not aware of any other high level spoiler that shape for revision 3+ cars but you never know. I really like the C-one kit. ...

Re: SBITS - Peter Gidden

Peter has posted the FC Commander back to me via Special Delivery (arriving yesterday) with a cable and a printed reference sheet as to which wire contacts which pad on the PCB. That is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: SBITS - Peter Gidden

It's been over a year since I got the car back from you, Peter. All you had to do as I had requested before was just post my property back to me. I really don't care so much now because if not receiving it means that this is all over and done then I concede.

Well, it runs the pump and warns of low fluid/pump fault, and, it's designed specifically to work with what you are installing.

Speak to Toxo or Shinny if they're still about.

ST205 Celica GT-Four ECU - p/n 89661-2B841 (JDM)

If you intend to run a charge cooler system in your Rev 3+ MR2, this is the ECU for you.

I've just acquired it for £100 posted so I'm listing it at the same.

Re: Is this weldable ?

Like Gazza says, just replace with a good one, blasted and powder coated/sprayed, then spaff some dynax s-50 (or any decent cavity wax) inside to keep it from rotting from the inside out.

Re: Gareth's 1999 Sonic Shadow Revision 5

Oh good. Sorry for the panic. To clarify, the UNF 7/16 pitch of 20 TPI works out as 1.27mm a la metrique, so can appear very similar without checking against a gauge.

Re: Gareth's 1999 Sonic Shadow Revision 5

Wew! I ordered s single M12*1.25 tap for about £6-£7. Finest chinesium of course... Uh oh! My spidey sense was tingling and I just realised why! It's not 7/16 UNF is it? Like seatbelt anchors etc; the threadform that is the tested and approved industry standard for certain fasteners. Occasionally y...

M12 * 1.25 according to the internet, I'll measure a bolt later this evening. Thanks for the offer - I'll order a tap as it's useful to have one on hand for future fuckups   The exact tap I required yesterday after posting that and one I don't have. I actually stood there thinking "I...

Re: Gareth's 1999 Sonic Shadow Revision 5

What thread is it? Is it UNF or metrique? There's a small chance I might have the correct size taps as I've got lots of odd ones. Re-tapped I'm sure it would be fine with a bit of threadlock on for belt and braces. I can pop one in the post to you if I have it.

Well there's a surprise! Another promise to post my FC commander has been broken. Wait, I know what happened; his dog ate it. I'm not angry, Peter. I'm just disappointed. I know there's a certain amount of resentment and disregard for us poor little MR2 owners who have caused you so much aggravation...
