Had the alternator lights of doom start glowing on me so after a few quick texts to Luke got a new alternator and took it up to the new workshop.
Chris checked it over whilst I was there and then swapped the old for new.
Top job and in the shiney bright new workshop so in good company!

I have 215/40 17's on my fronts which are 8" width.
In my opinion the stretch is too much.
It leaves the edge of the rim very exposed.
I would say you need 7" front and 8" rear
If you go without staggered widths 7" would be better.

I think it's pretty rare that they're rebuilt. My Car was NA and I switched to Billies and sold my old struts for £80 and got a set of black Billies with two spares for £100. I sold those a few months ago for £80. I would say that's a fair price. I actually bought a set of yellow billies used for £2...
