Power steering issue (not a relay problem)
After months of no power steering, I've decided to finally try and fix the issue. For some time, the ps just wouldn't turn on what so ever even after checking continuity in the ps systems and trying the relay trick many times. After letting my mechanic have a little look at it, it will now turn on w...

Power Steering Issue
So on my 93 mk2 ive developed some issues with the power steering. The ps light does work as it turns on for about 2 seconds when ignition is on. Im not getting any power steering light turn on indicating a fault when driving etc. My first efforts were to check the relay. Ive done the old key on and...

Beams - vvti help
Bit of an odd issue but any help would be appreciated. I have a mk2 n/a with a red top beams (from a celica gen 6) and an aftermarket link g4 storm ecu. The ecu is showing that the VVTI cam is stuck at maximum advance at around 40 degrees. Ive replaced the VVTI solinoid (oem) and still having the sa...

Re: Red top beams - engine wont start
Hi thanks for the replies. So just a quick update. I have ran injector tests from my link g4 storm ecu and they work. Im not sure on fuel pressure yet hopefully this is getting done tomorrow. I have also got hold of a compression tester and have checked all seem to run and hold 150psi which is a goo...

Re: Red top beams - engine wont start
Update: I have also tested the coil packs.
They all work some better then others.
But i doubt this is the issue otherwise i would expect rough running and coughing instead of nothing.
Could it potentially be the crank shaft sensor?? Just struggling to think what it could be.

Celica Steering Wheel for sale
I have for sale a Celica steering wheel. In great condition, only selling as I've changed direction with my interior. I got this from a member on here and never fitted it in the end but if you want a stock looking, updated/modern feel then this is the steering wheel you want. http://imgur.com/iOquxc...

[Mk2] [Generic] New Head Unit Recommendations and Installation
Looking to swap out the stock head unit and would like some pointers to make sure everything works when it goes in. Currently, have a full stock premium sound system and would rather not swap out the speakers/amps - Looking at this link, it seems that I need a head unit with 2 RCA's where the rear R...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Link G4+ Storm - advice please!
I've currently got the link g4 storm wire in version and have been playing around alot with it recently. As to whether link is better than the others or not I couldn't say as mine came attached to the engine so never experienced any others. 2. I think you just get the link ecu plug plus a couple ft ...

[Mk2] [Generic] How to reset factory stereo?
My stereo just displays "help" and I don't know how to reset it all. I can get it to display "dealer" by pressing 1, 4, 6, PWR all at once but I can't get any further than that. Anyone know what buttons I need to press to reset it? I'd rather not pay Toyota to press some buttons ...

Power steering pump always on
Ok so I have a Link ECU running the engine now and am just trying to sort out some minor issues. The ECU will be pumping out a tacho/speed signal on one of the pins which I am yet to wire into the dash but I was wondering is there anything else the power steering pump ECU needs to work properly agai...

Re: may need a new 3sge distributor need help!

This is what I've got...Engine had over 100k miles on it but it might have been replaced at some point I'm not sure. If you want it just send me a PM and we can sort out the details http://...
