Sorry to butt in... off topic .. Toxo.. do you drive through Reading alot?? I keep spotting a blue Mk2 and thinking its my mate (same colour Mk2 with white Volks) but its not! Guess it may be you!!? Saw possibly you driving past the Travellers Rest on the Henley / Reading Road (A4155 I think it is) ...

Well its now come to light that he wants something to go sideways in.. so I have told him an MR2 is not ideal for that, unless you are sh*t hot at it!!

So essentially unless you've got a crazily mint N/a to start with or are particulary attached to it for whatever reason it would be crazy to do it!
I'm gonna suggest it sells it and buys a tubby, or V6 it

Yep.. I'd agree, save yourself a lot of hassle!!
I'm assuming he's got himself a very very cheap N/a which is the reason he's asking about it.
Just wanted a rough idea of total cost of parts and labour costs.

had the same problem. very rare for water pumps to leak, from experience they tend to fail rather than leak.

Canot beleive how wet it was... actually thought I was going to end up having to get out the tent halfway through the night and go home, felt like it was going to collapse with all that wind and rain!! Worst I've seen it at Pod!!

They aren't *that* bad... I had so many horror stories when I bought my Rev2 Tubby.. mainly blokes warning me I'd never me able to deal with a car like that :lol: Its hardly supercar power now :lol: But tbh as long as you don't p**s about they are fine! :) I only ever had one remotely dodgy moment, ...

haha awesome. Well just backfire at the moment, but my car has a decat and standard ecu and greddy power extreme exhaust, and when it backfires i get flames out of each can :mrgreen: but it doesnt do it very often, only as i explained above.
