Try eBay I find genuine Toyota bearings parts from a place called partsouq.
13041-16071-02 £5.59 each

They were all genuine bearings sealed parts in boxes.

Might be worth checking all the metal/ rubber pipes around the TVIS system
Check for loose and damaged cracked ones.
Could also be a faulty waxstat.

How do I know which big end bearing shells to order. So have removed the sump and made a note of the the numbers stamped on the bottom of the block. Five numbers 33332 and four numbers 2222. Stamped on the crankshaft is 00001 so I add these up to workout the size of the main bearings to order. All 3...

Mr2 mk1 club under forum what have you done to your mr2 page 158 all the info part numbers and cost.

I made some up last year using bmw parts from euro car parts cost about £20 each side.

I fitted HEL to my car had no trouble at all. Properly be cheaper to buy the HEL ones then getting new lines made up and the time to fit them.

The bearing shells that came out of my engine have holes in each shell so one will end up in the cap.

My ones are all stamped with a M but it seems that the M is stamped 99.9 % on one side of the cap and not across the joint.

Thinking that the best way is to have the crank regrounded so I can fit undersized bearings.
That way I know I should not have any major fail/fault problems.

I have markings 1123 on the conrod caps. Still don't know how to match the pistons to the right cylinder bores.
