Funny you should say that - we were considering making a more - er - less "scrap heap challenge do it in weekend" version! Maybe even a road legal version.

Well the passenger side is dust cover is off. :lol: From the design I cant see how it aids airflow at all. In fact unless bits have fallen off due to rust, it virtually stops any airflow on the inboard side. The only purpose i can see it serves is to protect the bearing seal and so the bearing from ...

Just wondering what function do the dust shields do? I know their name hints at it, but that cant be the only reason surely? Why arent there dust shields on the outside too? Can I just remove them without consequence?

lol isnt it always the way. Literally just ordered a £20 flexi from ebay to weld in as only just found out that you can weld mild to stainless! its 50mm ID and 260mm long so will directly replace the old flexi. However, We do have another exhaust with busted flexi thats on the car so we could try to...
