Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] IMOC web site MY FINDINGS!
i think its great. what needs improving? Not a lot, really. Some sort of 'text speak' filter would be nice, although I've noticed the standard of people's English has improved dramatically over the past couple of months, as well as some sort of template that made the site look like an MS Word docum...

Re: Overtaking on the left - illegal or not?
Undertaking; whether illegal or not, is irresponsible and dangerous, and anyone who does it is endangering the lives of other road users as well as being a complete fool that should have their licence taken away. - saturated road infrastructure But what can be done? I'm certainly no 'green', but I t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] IMOC web site MY FINDINGS!
As much as the positive things I have to say about IMOC there are also things I can mention which this forum lacks and same goes for the OC. It might be worth mentioning how things could be changed (for the better) on here in your opinion, in an attempt to make IMOC even better than it is. There's ...

Here's one I took yesterday on the rollers:
I'm not expecting people to like it at all, 'cos its big and ugly and stupid-looking, but I like it nonetheless.

Re: [All] [Generic] Old spoiler marks
LOL I'm going to answer my own question now! Autoglym Paint Renovator has done the job. It seems to be like a classic 'T-Cut' type of thing, but it has already worked bloody wonders on my spoiler marks and other paint imperfections (for want of a better word). Highly recommended at £4.99 a bottle, b...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Dastek Unichip prices for Turbo + fitting?
Just had a quote for fitting my UniChip today from 1320 Autos (i.e. the people who build/run the FireForce jet car at Santa Pod): £250 fitted and mapped.
Okay, so that's £25 more than Millway, but I'll save that on fuel getting down there!

Thanks for the replies, chaps. I'm now back from my RR session.
Everything good clutch-wise, just down on power engine-wise! But that's for another post...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 turbo with T bar
Y'know, I've just got out of bed, and can't for the life of me remember if there's an ABS light on the dash when the ignition initially switched on - logic tells me 'yes', though! :D The TRC light does come on for a second or two when you fire up the car, and there's a switch by your right knee to t...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 turbo with T bar
It's a real mix 'n' match for the Mk2 market, with no apparent 'standard' for specification of the two turbo models. Some cars have stuff, whilst other's don't - as Ian says, dealer options slew things. For example, my MR2 has the stuff I mentioned above, but also has Electronic Brakeforce Distribut...

[All] [Generic] Old spoiler marks
Not sure this is in the right section, but it seems to be close enough! :) I've just changed spoilers, and have this 'interesting' mark on the boot where the old stock Rev 3 spoiler used to sit: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i128/SnowmanUK/IMG_1947.jpg Any ideas on how to get rid of it? I've tri...

Aye - my Rev 3 GT-S has ABS and TRC, so you're good to go on that one!

Okay - thanks for the response.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rolling Road with a new(ish) clutch
Hi guys and gals I had a clutch fitted at Rogue Motorsport about a month ago, and have put about 250 miles on the car since then. Tomorrow, I'm booked into a Rolling Road but have a sneaking suspicion that perhaps 250 miles isn't enough for a clutch to bed-in before hitting the rollers! It sounds da...

Wow! I bought myself a UniChip (with boost module) aaaaages ago and never got round to fitting it; it has been sitting in a box in my garage for over a year as I forgot I had it!

love all the post story defensiveness of the mr2 owners - not one has said the tubby driver was driving badly, just the usual BMW jibes :thumleft: Well, we're not going to openly slag off a fellow MR2 driver are we?! The 'usual BMW jibes' are expected because they are usually true for 99% of the BM...

It's always sad to hear about another MR2 getting smashed up.
Hope the driver was okay, though. MR2s are surprisingly tough in a crash...
