Re: Fords Dagenham - A haven for MR2's.
I've seen one of the black mk3s but I didn't know that there are two of them. So now we have red, white, tropical blue and black Mk3s... I'll wager light blue is next... I've also seen a white mk1 from time to time. By the way, Goto10, "Learn how to stop being gullible. Send £5000 to Steve in E...

Yup, that was me.
The cars in-line in the three-car pile-up looked a tad comical... just like in the movies. I guess no-one was hurt.
Glad you enjoyed your pint.

Re: Rev3? Nautical Blue A140 Norwich bound 4.15pm today.
Hi, That may well have been me. I do the Dagenham to Norwich run on Friday afternoons and would have been about there on the A140 at about that time. The A140 can be a lovely relaxing drive through the country or it can be the most frustatingly slow road around when the numpties come out to play! An...

Yup, got the gearbox fixed at last.
Came into the car-park and spotted the free space next to Slarty and could not resist the chance to do a formation display.
Take it easy fellas.

Get yourself over to twobrutal.co.uk and book a Mk 1.5 turbo conversion (a Mk 1 with a Mk 2 turbo engine)... then go Evo hunting. Sell the mother-in-law to pay for it.

If the condition is the same and the service history is complete on both (i.e. no major differences), then take them both for a drive and see which one feels better to you. If they both feel the same on test, then choose the one which you like the look of !

No, just happy to wind-up the sad and ignorant who have little intellect and resort to small-minded bravado challenges in an adolescent attempt to prove themselves. Seems to have worked a treat.
Have a nice day steve b.

Stop tram-lining? Put it back to exactly standard. Then change one thing at a time, assessing each change in turn. Easy.

Re: [Mk3] [Generic] Mk 3 MR2 Info VS MX-5 £7.5k to spend
Anyway, back to the original question... out of the two I would go for the Mk3 as long as it came with a hard top and a proper gearlever (not the flappy padel thing). Then I would be saving for a turbo kit, bracing kit, and some decent wheels / tyres, and maybe a front spoiler kit.

steve b, you edited my comments, so as your comments were incomplete kindly allow me to educate you... For £7.5k you can get a decent Mk2 rev 3 tubby and a decent motorcycle. Leave the MX to the girls.

Yeah, I'm sure the wimps would pick holes in it but the real drivers would love it. lol I think the holes appear on their own. No picking required. Yes, I think you are right. They are damn good fun, but even the second-hand ones should come with free RAC membership. Anyway, good luck to them. Hope...
