I'm looking at getting some MSA1B track tyres, originally was looking for some Kumho V70A's
But I've seen these interstate DNRT's which are on the MSA list and are super cheap! And apparently very soft (good for sprinting)
Anybody used them or have a review?
Thanks
Dan

Has anybody actually bought and fitted them though? And have seen it not seen good results?

The car drives to between 3-8 tracks per year, and sees very little road use other than that.
I'd prefer to find a way to do it without using the stock rod ends and your control arms to be honest but I believe this is the only solution that exists off the shelf

I'm interested in improving the geometry on my track car that currently sits quite low on AW tracksport springs. The Wilhelm Raceworks geo kit looks well thought out and uses sound logic, but it's a fair chunk of money especially after shipping tax etc. https://wilhelmraceworks.com/suspension-geomet...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev3 turbo (swap), rev limit dropped to 6800rpm. - why?????
Just to close this off in case somebody is searching for a similar possible in the future. The problem was caused because the cambelt had slipped two teeth on the crank gear backwards! Hypothesis is it happened on a spin onto the infield where I didn't drop the clutch quick enough and the engine was...

UPDATE: Swapped the coil pack for a new one, removed paint from Coil/Igniter bracket and made sure igniter has a really good earth, took it out to test and now won't rev past 6300!! It's gotten worse by 500rpm since last test. Engine and oil up to temp,. No fault codes, car otherwise behaves normall...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev3 turbo (swap), rev limit dropped to 6800rpm. - why?????
It will bounce off of the 6800 rev limit like a factory limiter, it doesn't rise up and settle there, but it's also not a really harsh jerk like a fuel cut.
I confirmed that it's not just the tacho reading wrong by checking with an external tacho on the HT lead

Yeah, sorry should have mentioned I'm running rev 3 ignitor.
And car had been running happily for two years with the rev3 swap with 7200 rev limit before this happened.
Has anyone experienced an ignitor failing? Maybe could be that..

Hello, last year my car for some reason has stopped revving to 7200rpm normal rev3 redline and now will not rev past 6800rpm. It definitely used to rev to 7200 I can confirm with Dyno graph, and I've double checked that the tacho is reading accurately. Has anybody experienced this in the past? Rogue...

Do you have the front and rear strut bodies/brackets?
Damper inserts not necessary just looking for the strut bodies.
Thanks

[Mk2] [Turbo] Does removing the 15A EFI fuse prevent injectors from firing?
I've always removed the 15A EFI and 7.5A ECU-IG fuses from the engine bay fuel box any time I wanted to crank the engine without it firing. I always assumed the EFI fuse would prevent injectors from firing and the ECU-IG fuse would prevent spark. However I've noticed when I crank the engine with the...

Blitz Super Sound DD blow off valve - MR2 specific flange £60
In very good condition, was rebuilt with a new seal after I bought it two years ago and has seen little use since as it's on my sprint car that lives in a garage and only does 5 events a year. Comes with MR2 specific flange that bolts up to the OEM hard pipe. Dual drive system means it has two separ...
