Hi that is a stunning looking mk1, the fact it's been a catc would not put me off at all. It's different when the car is new and it's too much damage to be economical to repair but a cat c on an old car which the insurance value at peanuts could be for as little as a damaged bumper due to buying new...

These seats are from the red tubby that was on here for sale last week for £2000, looking at Banned trader sales on bay he is going to net over £4500 for breaking it :twisted:

I'm gutted as I had my eye on the car and was viewing it the next day, the seats look awesome 8)

How do you know this? Was it you that bought it by any chance? lol I nearly bought it, it was on gumtree and I had spoke to the seller a few times, as he was leaving the country he reduced it to £3500 and it sold in days. I was really tempted but it would have been my only car and not very practica...
