Thanks Peter. Also BGB suggests gearbox is held to the block with only 6 bolts.............is this correct or a miss leading picture?

Hi all, I'm currently undertaking my first major job on the MR2 - clutch and gearbox swap. I've got the drivers side shaft out and popped the passenger side out of the hub. Yes be ware of fakes, you need to be sure that your piece of metal bar is genuine or performance could be affected .

I was having trouble bleeding my brakes a while ago. I noticed the bleed nipples were kind of loose in the threads, they must wear down and hence pass air through. Ordered some new nipples from toyota (couple of quid) and that sorted it.

If you can't shift it, stick a scaffold pole or similar over the breaker bar for better leverage.
