Cold oil level should be 3/4 to allow the oil level in the sump to drop with circulting oil and temperture. Sounds like its simply a little too low.

As for now not starting you need to establish if you have spark/fuel/compression

I took measurements, the later cars brakes appear to be 20mm larger diameter. Also compared the calipers and the numbers are different.
Does this sound about right? My Rev2 came on standard 15s but the rev1 came on Nissan 300zx 16" wheels, which have now been removed.

Worn bushes can cause movement but as the hub is fixed to the strut they should move as one piece.

Most likely is that the wheel bearing is the cause of the play - but a finger is a lot.

Also possibly the bolts holding the hub in place come loose? Doesn't seem likely though.
