Thats a good point! The garage that installed the mods did'nt want to rev too hard until the ecu had been fitted and set up. As for the ECU I saw the same model on ebay no bids set at £360. Just thought of something else the car left me with the stock ecu on and was not boosting.

Thats all I wanted out of the new mods 250 300 bhp. So I had the fuel tested which was fine. The engine was not modified in anyway. All the rest is up to the ecu right?

Will the new engine run all the mods I have installed? I don't want to go down the same route

I had the fuel pressure checked out and was fine. I had a new 3.5 bar pump ready to hand and was not needed.

Thor racing set the link ecu up and found the engine problems. I'm not willing to spend more money to fix the car really. I love the car and had more sleepless nights than my divorce. What do you think the car is worth? £1000 ?

Black smoke from the breather hose. Compression test reveals 20 and 35% on two cylinders. It does run and no knocking noises.
