I ended up doing the map myself with the aid my FC datalogit and a borrowed wideband and the help of a friend I spent a lot of time tweaking the map on the little...

well selling and breaking must both be crap options for you buddy!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
However if i were you i'd suspect that breaking the car or rather returning her to near standard is probably a better option to get back more money

is there a differance in the subframes? is the rev3 one better? i only ask because i'm breaking my rev3 and obviously i have a subframe sitting here, didn't really think to advertise it!

Re: [All] [Generic] wow, 600 hp mr2 turbo on ebay!
splash is right a big turbo is easier around town cause the car just never boosts generally you save petrol around town for this same reason :) The problem around town is lumpy cams which have been mapped on the quick by a mapper rather than finely tuned by yourself. My mates celica has 264's and it...

Re: [All] [Generic] wow, 600 hp mr2 turbo on ebay!
don't think its a dino of a turbo its just huge and could be a pain to control when it spools hard in a RWD car!

people generally go for less power, and less lag now in the MR2 world i think
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
On another note the cars a cracker, but what if it rains surely the ECU will get wet?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Effects of a lighter flywheel?
i would imagine it wouldn't matter to be honest
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
For referance though i went with the HKS Chromoly flywheel and RPS Street Max 450 Clutch Kit
- Can't fault it, bite from the clutch is strong as a strong thing, and still can drive about town no hassle unlike a paddle clutch ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Effects of a lighter flywheel?
i went and bit the bullet on this and bought an HKS one for my car, i didn't think it would make a differance but the car is definatly quicker it seems to spool up quicker and pulls harder, quite shocked that it made that much of a differance really! Not to mention the joy i get by watching how quic...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Do my fins look bad?
To be fair looking at the top pic from an angle looking at the left fins they look like they have seperated and on the right they look like they have squished together and also looks like the right hand side ones are scored in that photo

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] intercooler on ebay
to the lads asking why to upgrade... The air entering your engine = power colder air = more power (because cold air is more dense than warm air) Warm air = less power, but also increased knock as the warmer air is more prone to preignition due to its higher temperature. When you up the boost the tem...
