Re: [Mk2] [NA] 150mph in 4th gear from an NA!!!
All of this conjecture is meaningless. You can work out top speed mathematically from rpm, gear ratios and tyre diameter. For a stock normally aspirated car that means a mechanical limit of 138mph - assuming a long enough straight to wind it up that high - and 158mph for a turbocharged car. Thats w...

[Mk2] [NA] 150mph in 4th gear from an NA!!!
Mates just said to me; "Yeah my mr2 goes 150mph in 4th gear" To which i replyed "what is it? A tubby?" End up no its a "deristricted" rev 1 NA. WFT is a deristricted NA, what could he mean by this? Obviously hes either making it up or has been told a pack of lies when h...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Dash lights just came on
Just tested the voltages and they check out - 12.odd & 14.4ish with car on, so close enough. It came on again on the way home from work, same speed again 65ish 4k revs, with medium acceleration. So does this mean the alt is fine? Or could it be on its way out? Can alts be intermitant? Next thing...

[Mk2] [NA] Dash lights just came on
Happened the other day too but went straight off so didnt think about it too much. Was going about 65 in 4th gear, so about 3.5-4k revs. when what looked like all the ignition lights plus the low oil level lights all came on. Slowed down abit and they all went off, so tried speeding back up again to...

Re: [All] [Generic] Lack of customer service from Fensport
I was about to post up exactly what monkeymax did. & Im also unsure about the restocking fee. Companies seem to try things on so just push them and they generally back down as they know they are in the wrong (legally!) End of is you have "7 days cooling off" so they should never have r...

Ive just gone for the standard. Kev was helpful and polite, really nice doing business with someone who knows and cares about what they are selling. Thumbs up for customer service so far (please dont let me have jinxed myself lol), really wish all companies i deal with were like this!
