[Mk2] [NA] cat sensor? what to to when decatting
ive a new decat pipe and gaskets to fit and when i was sussing it out i could see there was a sensor going into the cat up to the engine- what do i do when i fit the decat pipe? can it be left disconnected and if so will it mess with engine managment cheers

ok ive ordered up a decat for my rev4 NA and i know that it wont be coming with the gaskets just the bolts- some people have said just to use exhaust gum to seal the pipe- would anyone say if this is ok to use? is it easy to get a seal and will the decat be easy to remove again come MOT time? cheers...

in rms's defence there are some powerful jap cars owned by alot of them from evo fq's,sx's, scoobys, vti's etc- but yea would be good to have a few two's turn up for the show

just picked up my 96' n/a import at the weekend and the rev counter dosn't work on it - everything else electrical works great just the rev counter- any advice on what to check or what could be the cause? cheers guys p.s i did a search first but nothing helpful came up :-k also it takes a couple go'...

ok guys i might be off to aquire a nice mr2 jap import from the mainland uk (as im in belfast), its low milage with 60k miles on the clock and has been only driven 5k in the last 2 years by the sellers wife and he has all its previous mot's- i dont dout what he's saying as the interior and exterior ...

that machine is just fantastic- i would easily imagine its worth the 10grand mark- even if i could afford it i wouldnt buy it as it belongs in a garage and not as a daily drive

Advice: Buy a Revision 3+ Go to the mainland for it (Costs approx £200 to bring it home, but there is a significant saving).
