Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Mk2 turbo - jerky acceleration when cold problem.
I guess it could be the coil pack... this time of year we see a lot of them start to fail. Over time the plastic body cracks due to the heat they produce, then over night, especially when it rains etc the moisture gets in and the car won't run right until the coil has warmed up enough to dry out... ...

Re: coilovers and anti roll bar ??
The antiroll bar connects to the shock via the ARB links, these should be present on all suspension for the two. I've got tein coilovers with uprated ARB's and it drives like a go-kart....

Re: Bumper
1. You need to remove the rear lights to get to the top plastic fixings. 2. There are more plastic fixing on the bottom of the bumper. 3. You will also need to remove both side strips, one bolt under the wheel arch and two inside the boot, per side. 4. Then disconnect the wiring to the rear numberpl...

Re: Rear Lights ?
The lexus style rear lights are a direct bolt in replacement for Toyota's later specification revision 3 units. They can be made to fit to earlier (pre '94) mk2 MR2's with the addition of a suitable centre panel, but the OEM centre panel with reverse lights retails for in excess of £200! The centre ...

Re: 500bhp!!!
Not a simple task - your first big proble is the AFM, you'll need to do away with that. Big turbo, injectors, fuel pump, forged internals, serious cooling, Decat, exhaust, engine management and a whole lot of dyno time. For that kind of work you'll need to invest around £15 - £20K me thinks... Big b...

I've seen a few in my time and all the top installs have bent over and i would think that would restrict flow - take care tapping the hole as the material isn't very thick!

Re: Water Injection install questions
As far as i'm aware it makes no difference, if you do it on top you'll find the hose may get bent as you close the enginebay cover.... just a thought.

Re: Rogue Systems Charge Cooler
We do offer a fitting service and its costs £250... not cheap i know but it takes the best part of a day and plus it will be installed correctly ahem 'Mike' ahem. It is quite fiddly to do without the use of a lift but as mike has proved it can be done.
