Re: My AW11 MR2 NA

Very tidy looking car. Nice to see one done a little bit different to the norm also. More people should post pics of their cars! Thanks mate :D Yeah, I wanted to stand out from the AW11 crowd in our country without being over the top  Yes, we should make a dedicated thread for AW...

Did you make them? Or do you know where someone could get them from?

The side skirt was on the car when I purchased it. The front lip is originally for a Mitsubishi Colt Mirage  Custom fit by the bodyshop garage and blended onto the body :)

Re: Rota GTR

Adam, that calculator really helps well, after I know what to input  I will however going for 18x8.5+35 and 18x9.5+40 (I will use a 10mm hubcentric spacer to make it +30). With a lil bit of -ve camber front and rear, it will looks tough and flush 8)

Re: Rota GTR

What about 18x10 +41? Will it hit the strut? I dun mind if it stick out beyond the bodywork as I can dial in -ve camber..

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] KKK K31 Turbo

Update, I have finally bought the KKK K3T turbo from my friend. I need an adapter flange and external wastegate for this turbo though. I will change the headgasket to a Rev3 MHG too and adding an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Since this turbo is a bolt on turbo for 3SGTE, I will only run 1.0ba...

Hi all, I am planning to get a pair of Brian Crower 264 Deg Cams. For street tuning, do I need to change the valves and valve springs too?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] KKK K31 Turbo

Well, its a KKK K3T turbo actually #-o From what I know, this is a direct replacement turbo for 3SGTE. Im not going for big bhp, I just want a better higher flowing turbo than the CT26 and can withstand up to 1.2bar of boost if I happen to go for forged the internals.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] KKK K31 Turbo

i think the fitment will be wrong TBH what was the spec of your friends car? I'd go with a Rev3 conversion and run the CT20B turbo I know its not gonna be a direct bolt-on and adapter flange needs to be custom made for the turbo to be attach to the manifold and I will run an external wastegate too....

Whats the reason for choosing this turbo?

What rev model do you have

A fren of mine is selling this turbo to me. Previously it was fitted onto a ST205 Celica GT4 and produced 440bhp.

Btw, I have a rev1 SW20 with rev2 3SGTE.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Garret TO4E

If you can get it to fit, you'll get more than a little lag! It's good for 600bhp, ish, but not on a stock engine. If it works, you'll need an ECU and fuel upgrades to even touch what this turbo could do... Bit big for the stock Rev 2 IMO. Get yourself a nice GT28RS I thought it was only a lil bigg...
