Main factors would be a good clutch that can take the abuse and also a hydrolic handbrake than can help aswell. It's not all about power as i've seen/been in MX5's that can drift very well, but a bit of power is essential.

An Mr2 will never be a Supercar or Hypercar for me. It has to have passion and love and charactheristic like Ferrraris and Lamborghinis if you understand me? As much as i love my MR2 it's more machine than lover.

Id stick with bilsteins as at least when one goes easy to replace like for like ....Coilovers just dont offer durabilty imo ...i have d2's on mine and im in the process of sourcing 2 black billies for the rear ...;) Driftworks seem to be very good at customer service and are able to get hold of spa...

I've heard nothing but good reviews on HSD coilovers. But mainly the HR's and not the DT's. I've even experienced them on a friends car and they do ride really good. I've found Camskill to be the cheapest. Depending on what size eBay seem pretty cheap too!
