Great work looks fantastic as does XIII.
Mine is also white with a Mongoose but just an NA, still fairly nippy though.
I need to get round to doing something about the glovebox lid as it's spoiling an otherwise immaculate interior. Think I may copy you with the led dome light swop.
Thanks Phil. I had the wheels off yesterday (and popped my Rev4 ones back on with new tyres) to have a really good look at what's going on. The inner sill hole is tiny could not get even the tip of my little finger in it, all metalwork around is rock solid. Driver's side just inside the rear bumper ...
Hi MB I'm off to a fabricators (CT Fabrications) after work today to get a quote, the hole in the internal sill looks tiny and both external sills are still perfect having been changed a few years ago. I think you're right and the bumper will probably need to come off for the corrosion right at the ...
Love your mk2 and mk1 looking good. Had my MOT (rev3) and first fail for years on emissions Co2 and small amount of rust on internal sill and behind rear wheels. Hoping the majority is as sound as it appears and that they won't need to remove the rear bumper to weld. Did you get the clips from Mr T?...

Thanks all
Rob
Thanks Wilkie i haven't got round to doing mine yet, I will take a look.
I have new alternator belt and service in a couple of weeks so plan is after that
Driving back from work tonight.
Caribbean Blue N Reg Rev3 on seafront, then a Goodwood Green P reg Rev 4 with gold or bronze alloys, 2 mins later.
Both looked in really good nick, wish I had been in mine.
I first use an all purpose cleaner (Surfex HD) diluted with a brush to get rid of surface dirt and grime. Then either hand polish with something like Megs Ultimate Compound or machine polish if really bad Then use the brush and all purpose cleaner again to get rid of any residue. Finish with a spray...
Welcome back, great looking car
Anyone know what wheels they are on the grey kitted beauty in the original post.
I recognise them but can't recall which they are and may treat myself
Cheers
You can also jack at the front of the car dead centre.
You will probably need a low level jack and I drive front wheels up on to a couple of pieces of wood to give a little better access,
