Rainsport 3's won't let you down. Whether they can they be had in the sizes you need is another thing though.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Injectors and fuel rail
Don't know about 850cc upwards but you can get up to 800cc that fit into the stock rail. That's what I've done and am waiting to have them fitted.
On stock injectors I think you can safely run 280hp (flywheel) but have seen 300hp achieved.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Help! Apexi Power FC Mapper needed.
Hayes Engineering/Dynotech are meant to have a good mapper. My friend had his Evo done there and really rates it compared to the map he had with the person who mapped my Rev3. I think once my upgraded fueling bits are on I will go for a tune with Hayes or Fensport.

Re: Drop link replacement 3 SGTE?
I think to get the old link out and the new one in you'll need to loosen those two bolts and remove the top one so you can pivot the strut on the hub. This should give enough clearance to slip the top of the new link in.

Re: My suspension woes continue.. (skip to end!)
IT'S FINALLY RIGHT! I've hardly been driving the car since March last year because it was such a physical and mental drain, with it following every rut in the road quite violently. Changed my front tyres for a new pair of AD08R's yesterday, the previous fronts were part worn AD08R's off Ebay over a...

Re: Boot Locked in Valet Mode ( - )
I still don't see the point of designing it to become rendered unusable by turning the key the opposite way. Couldn't it just have been made so you could turn it the other way to deadlock the bootlid meaning it cannot be opened with the lever but could be released normally with the key afterwards :r...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] PAS Not switching off at high speeds
6/10kg sounds fairly stiff. I'm running BC 5/8kg on full damping which seems ok (uneven roads obviously feel a bit bumpy). Be interested to know how the Meister coilovers are when you get them.

Maybe have the 4.5" tips cut off and replaced with smaller diameter tips. Pop a bung into each and it should be a bit better.

Re: Rev3 Turbo Wastegate Actuator
Have you tried going to a local motorfactor and asking if they can get parts from a company called Blue Print? When I order parts from my motorfactor they know to order from them as the parts are regarded as OE standard. Might be worth a shot.

Re: Rev3 Turbo Wastegate Actuator
Can you not buy stock actuators at all anymore then? I have a Forge on my old CT20b but with the spring it has in it the minimum boost was about 16psi upwards.

Re: Boost problems
If your EBC is anything like my Profec then you'll have a vacuum feed going to the controller and then some more to connect the solenoid between the turbo and actuator. Remove the solenoid plumbing from the equation by just connecting the silicone pipe from turbo straight to the actuator but leave t...

I went for the RH kit with 5/8kg springs. I think they're fine but people who sit in my car think the ride is very firm.

Re: Tyre choices?
Willenium - Yeah I know what you mean, I'm running B6 shocks and Tein springs so I need something squishy lol Fair enough :thumleft: I'm always seeing posts in various places about people buying coilovers and then running them really soft so that it rides like stock. Makes me wonder why they bother...

Re: Tyre choices?
Thanks for the insight Fred. What do you mean by soft? Soft compound so quick wearing, or soft side walled so wallowy on the road? Thanks again Soft sidewalls so they squish around a bit. Stock size uses a tallish profile which will allow them to move even more. Not too much of an issue to most own...

Re: Tyre choices?
I quite like Rainsport 2's and 3's in 17" but they are definitely soft. Don't think I'd like them on stock wheels.

For that spec I would leave it running on stock management until the car reaches the mapper and then you can fit the new management up and let the mapper do his thing.

Yep all our major work goes to Pacific Works. Small bits and bobs we try and do ourselves.
