Seems strange they fit the tears but not the front. How big spacers are we talking?

Mk2 with 200sx wheels - pics?

Anyone have pics of a Mk2 with s14 wheels?

Have a set in the garage to fit but needs tyres so want to know what they'll look like before I fork out for new rubber.

Cheers,

Uglee - Yay my car made it on here! Isn't it meant to be a thread about other favourite 2's? Plenty of threads running with owners cars! This is my favourite 2 http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a341/leewa79/19102009112.jpg Because: a) I saw it and took the photo b) It made the local news 2 months la...

Proper stuff already exists, this is what i use for my own car, fully mobile... you can move the whole thing around even with a car on it, it cost £800 but priceless in terms of accessibility and safety. Re: KONI MK1a sport kit

just fitted koni's to a Mk1a and had to take off weld around the bottom collar to actually get them to fit in the strut casings.

Methinks Koni are getting a little sloppy.

It's no the size of the thread you should be worried about wee man, it's the size of the knob that's important.

Re: Carry the Weight, or rather don't...

Knew it was somewhere around there. Obviously a bit more for a t-bar etc.

It's a sunroof mk1a i'm going to be stripping down before we build back up.

Hopefully get it under the 900kgs mark.

My track car i'm hoping will be a fair bit lighter than that, but that will be for good reason

Re: Carry the Weight, or rather don't...

Absolutely, it will be bare to the bones, even as far as drilling holes where able to. I'll check on a minimum weight but doubt we'll get that far.

Any ideas what weights they have got down to simply by removing parts/lightening?

Carbon fibre aint an option (for us) really.

Carry the Weight, or rather don't...

Have a couple of projects banding about at the minute, and have a Mk1a just in which is going to become a tarmac rally car (not be ready till start of 2011). Anywho's i'm wondering what weight people have managed to get Mk1's down to? The cage will obviously add a bit back in but what sort of weight...

Re: MK1 turbo hill climb

Good to know it's not sped up even when it does look it. My comment was aimed at the fact the video looked sped up and why do that, not that your car wasn't as fast as implied.. Looks like a cracking build and that's a proper power to weight ratio you're working with. Props to you. Any external vide...

Hello if you're on here.

We were the idiots in the Mk3, Mk1 and Supra that left the viewpoint sideways.

Nice clean Mk1 you've got yourself. :thumleft:
