Re: MK1 turbo hill climb

And i agreed it was, very much so.

Just tainted by something that could be down to decoding, or could be down to a wind up, or could be down to showing off. I only pointed out the fact it looks sped up.

Re: MK1 turbo hill climb

Absolute nonsense folks, the hand movements are way too fast, like at the start from gearstick to face, inputs in the corner, when the passenger is waving straight on etc. I thought you lot knew about driving a car smoothly to make it quick? Look at the way the rev counter falls between gear changes...

Re: Shortening gearchange cables

Nah Jim, think about it, Mr2 cables got half the length of the fuel tank then sweep out to the left.

Yer FWD ones the selector mechanism is at the front of the tunnel, straight out and to the left.

Gotta be shorter i'd reckon.

Re: top gear, camary engine

You do realise those are 4mm tall Oompa Loompas in that pic? IS350 and Team Doublehead engines are longditudinally mounted. Would be fun to replicate that. Not sure on the box used in the TDH Mk3 setup? Evora uses (I believe) a Toyota Avensis box. I've yet to see one of these, not even sure what den...

Re: top gear, camary engine

Yep and we've put one in a Mk2 already.

It's a 2GR-FE engine, puts out about 270bhp straight out the box.

Absolutely brilliant engine.

There's a group buy happening on the engines too if you fancy some Evora goodness.

Re: Sourcing a spring!?

Jon, the delivery is insured so you shouldn't be paying out anything to get it sorted. It's just crap the buggers took them off the pallet and lost it in the 1st place  By the way, the kits are about £550 new at the minute. Comparitive bargain as you got the struts there too. Hopefully they'll...
