I'd go with Monocraft, too.....! :thumleft:

Veilside Fortune kit looks well suited, but has that "I wanna be a Porsche Boxster"- look to it....?! :?

Re: Return of the MR2 ?

 Concepts....don't you just love 'em..? It certainly looks like the "fun" element of the MR2 has gone forever? Mr.T seems to be geared more towards the "GT" side of things......? :? MR2 is not a tourer (the Mk2 being a mistake, really! ): its key feature ...

Re: Camouflage MR2

yeh..I'd go with the vinyl, too.... Car is TOO nice to paint..! :thumleft: I did my Mk1 in Satin Black (a la F-117 "Nighthawk"), painted, and it DID look great.... ...however, it had rubbish paint beforehand, and I did loads of bodywork restoration, so I had nothing to lose...... ....UNLIK...

Re: Return of the MR2 ?

Cmon guys (and gals! )..! This is a no brainer! Take a Mk3, restyle some body panels, replace the (woeful) 1ZZ with a load of batteries, fit the motors, KERS system, etc.... eh voila! A decent MR2 replacement, zero emissions, STILL decent weight distribution and could still be fun.....? Oh..o...

Re: mk3 mods - Adrian Flux insurance

Greglebon, there are so many ways that you can legally lower your insurance costs. This is something that the insurance companies wont ever tell you. That may well be so: but bear in mind that for the other quotes I got for the other cars, my details were exactly the same as the ones that AF use fo...

Re: over rated

From MY past experience i found Adrian Flux is over rated and expensive. Where would you go instead, then? Was that with a modded car? I'm sure that there is some sort of cartel-thing going on within the relatively small group of insurance companies that WILL insure my car...?! :-k I mean, I can in...

Re: Pre facelift or not?????

If they're virtually the same price, its a no brainer, really...? Unless you're prepared to take the risk, that is.....? If you can get the non-oval-bore 1ZZ, then that would be my choice, given the circumstances.... If the pre was £1k less than the post, and you prefer the look, th...
