Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
I'm interested in looking at alternate topmounts, however I think the only non toyota ones are KYB which are probably the oem supplier for the toyota ones anyway.

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
Yeah I think thats just because the forum gets about 3 users viewing it a day, not that anyone didn't care. I mean you could put it up on FB but then it just gets lost in the noise I'd be interested, especially decent suspension/steering bits When looking up some of the parts you do see a lot of cro...

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
Thats a good call, I've never had wheelbearings off blueprint but most other things I've bought from them have usually been japanese manufactured

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
Seeing as yer in Cornwall why not call TCB parts and ask em how much they do the OEM wheelbearings. Mr2 ben is always on the pricier side for stuff.

Re: Front Wheel Bearing Recommendations?
I think I went for SKF bearings, but honestly if I could get em now I'd go for toyota. https://www.vsm.skf.com/uk/en/search-parts?market=eu&poffset=10&tab=tab_1_automotive&vhits=12&vehicleid=eu0002-3852&phits=10&l=en That should tell you the part number you need, I think they...

Re: Anyone have a mica orange Two?
I've still never seen one in the flesh, I forget if some of those rev5 colours actually sold in the uk at all.
Someone who follows me on instagram has one, but he's in japan lol

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
I've got a silicone L piece that attaches to the bov currently. I just thought that the bung wouldn't be secure enough with a jubilee clip on it or summat

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
This is what it sounds like
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LIhFi_ksc4
I'd like to try it on mine but the ST205 chargecooler doesn't have an easy way to fit a blanking plate unlike the smic pipes. Like I could put a cap over it but I feel like whatever I do to secure it isn't going to be enough.

Re: Removing aftermarket dump valve
Well the old tale is that it can cause damage to the turbo shaft, but seeing as nobody has ever complained about killing a turbo due to not running a bov I'll believe it when I see it. Plus without a bov you get a cooler noise than those horrible bailieys units. Another option would be to find someo...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler for 400hp
My only experience with sidemounts is the stocker and man that thing loves to heatsoak. What sidemount are you using anyway? Personally I'm not a fan of boot mounts as I don't fancy having my car hacked up (even more than it already is lol) and I do like the responsiveness that having very little bo...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Charge Cooler for 400hp
I mean I know the word was always that the 205CC was only good for 350bhp, but that was years ago and I don't think I ever saw any dyno charts. Maybe one day I'll see what it can make on my weird ass Blitz turbo if I ever get around to upgrading to bigger injectors and having my link mapped For (rel...

Re: Orange Side Lights
They were also used on JDM cars, I think the US ones don't even have the sidelight bulb I can't remember. Technically you shouldn't use em because it makes the sidelights a bit orange, but I've got a set and with an led sidelight bulb it doesn't look orange at all. Been through quite a few MOT like ...
