Hi, thanks for your comments and yes totally agree with you about the modifications and they've now all been removed and the car is back to 100% standard ready to advertise for sale. Steve
Hi, can anyone tell me please if these wheel nuts on ebay would be the right fit for our standard MK1 wheels? They're listed as being for Toyota 4x4 vehicles but the thread is the same so I'm wondering if the shank is the correct size or not? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ALLOY-WHEEL-NUT-TOYOTA-GENUINE-...
Cheers Paul :) I wish you could buy it too,at least I'd know it had gone to a good home and to someone who'd appreciate its condition :) To be honest I haven't done anything about it yet ,I'm in no rush really, and I suspect I'll regret it the moment it's gone! I'm waiting for some dry weather too,th...
Hi Alex, no they're not BBS although that was the age/period of look I was trying to get. They're actually Lenso BSX rims in 7x15. Apart from obviously being one piece wheels the biggest give away that they're not the real thing is the Lenso centre nut is different to to the BBS one. The Lensos have...
I've been contacted by a couple of members explaining that I need to state a sale price in my advert otherwise it will be removed,I'm sorry for this but I really had no idea this was the case. The car has been valued by two different specialist garages at £10,000 and this is also the agreed insuranc...
Too be honest I've never tried Paul,it's never even been to any shows! When I bought it I always intended to try but it's just never happened, when there's been a show I've always seemed to be busy or had other commitments, either that or it's been raining! It definitely deserves to be seen mo...
Please see explanation further down regarding a sale price, thanks. I've reluctantly decided it's time to sell my MK1. It must be one of the very best Mk1's available anywhere in regard to condition and mileage and is possibly the best T-Bar in the country? It has only covered a genuine 3,000 miles ...

[quote="Paul Cyclops"]What would you do if you were the custodian of this delightful example? The urge to stick a few reasonably brisk miles on it, perhaps on the continent, must be overwhelming. Conversely, I'd feel an obligation to keep it immaculate as this must be one of the finest exa...
Thanks for the kind comments :D Yes the car's basically standard,I've just made a few cosmetic changes to try and put my own stamp on it. It's a very low mileage car so there's nothing I've done that can't easily be put back to standard and I've kept all the original parts because I realise original...

Search for 'Hard Dog' roll bars, they're an American firm who have been making proper roll bars for the MX5 for years, really top drawer items, and I think they also do one for the Roadster.

I must try and get along again this summer,I've have only been once but really enjoyed it. I hope you're feeling better soon Rhon
I had a pre-03 car and fitted 15" Rota Slipstreams which I was really happy with, nice and light and looked great too,Black wheels on a White car. I went for 6" fronts with 195/50 tyres and 6.5" rear with 205/50 tyres.
I did this but the other way round,I swapped a MK3 for a MK1 about 4 or 5 years ago! I do miss the MK3 but then it was for a very special MK1,in an ideal world I'd have both
Can anyone help? I'm trying to post some pictures of mine but I just keep getting the message below: 'Sorry, you'll need to post more before you can put URLs into posts'
I've checked in the FAQ section under posting images but it doesn't say anything about this
